Finally done! I sketched her a few years back but was too lazy to find a scanner. Her original motto was: "zPod. Eat while you're alive." which has a charm to it I think, but doesn't fit the wink-nudge mockery of the slogan.
The background was a combination of a texture (gotten from Eatpoo textures) and different brushes/opacities, and was brought about by my complete unwillingness to put a lot of effort into the background. I think I like it more than I would have otherwise!
Can you believe I forgot to add blood to her until a few hours ago? The oversight...! Though with that stomach, she was probably constantly hungry while alive, and looks like she hasn't been too good at catching food now that she's undead.
It's been crazy long since I put up something that wasn't some sort of fanart. So, here!
Drawn in my artbook with a graphite pencil (gasp!), colored in Adobe PS7 with my tablet.
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

DUde, in all the times I looked at this on you comp, I never noticed that her left arm was missing a chunk of the flesh and was just bone.
She has a belly ring. O___o; A star? Should have done a skull or something. XD Wouldn't that be cute?
The way she walks makes my ankles hurt. ToT;;; And yes, I know that's generally how zombies shuffle. Doesn't make me cringe any less.
Overall, kind of eerie and very wtf indeed.

Heheh... yup! Just bone. I think it wasn't so obvious without the massive spray of drying blood.
Oh! A skull bellybutton ring would be cute. But the star is more generic young woman thing.
Yay! Eerie and wtf is what I was aiming for...
Possibly. And, you know, always looking at it from my 35º angle. XD
Trueee. At least you didn't do a pink heart or something. *shudder*
Yay!
